According to an article on Kotaku this morning, Vivid Entertainment will send a letter to Sony asking them to allow its adult movies on the PSN. After that they’re going to ask Microsoft about putting the same content on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This all came about because Sony recently started allowing adult movie streaming on Japanese PS3′s. So Vivid figured maybe Sony would allow it here in the States.
Both the PSN and Xbox Live have R-rated movies and MA-rated TV shows on their services. And you can see unrated movies through Xbox Live’s Netflix streaming service. But porn? That seems unlikely to me. Hey, it would be great if it happened. Although it’s not like I would use the service….unless it was priced to move…hmm…hmmm….
