Here’s the important stuff:

  • Born in Virginia. Grew up in Jacksonville, Florida.
  • Wrote plays in high school.
  • Studied Creative Writing in Ireland with Florida International University.
  • For college, got degrees from both the University of Florida and Full Sail University. Studied Telecommunications and Film, respectively.
  • Taught self to draw comics in college. Drew strips for the Independent Florida Alligator.
  • Wrote & drew comic strip “Load” from 2000 to 2009. Published in various magazines and self-published a collection called “Why Do You Cry When I’m On Top?” through own company Load World Comics.
  • Independently published several other comic books through LWC, including “Pope & Pig.”
  • Moved to Los Angeles in 2004.
  • Art-directed some low-budget feature films.
  • Briefly worked as a voice-over talent agency assistant.
  • Currently working a regular-ass day job whileĀ pursuing a career as a screenwriter.

  • My girlfriend is the totally hot author Eden Bradley.
  • We have three adorably-awesome cats.
  • I love watching movies and playing video games.
  • I’m into tattoos andĀ piercings. I seem to always be getting something new added to my body.
  • I’m a huge fan of the music of Frank Zappa.
  • I love the writings of Robert E. Howard, H.P. Lovecraft and Kurt Vonnegut.
  • For movies, I love just about anything by John Waters, Shinya Tsukamoto or Takashi Miike, or starring Godzilla.
  • I have a thing for flashy Puma sneakers.
