Fallout - Thumbs Up!Great news for horny British kids! The Times is reporting the revelation that it is now legal to sell adult videos and adult video games to people under 18 years old.  Apparently the 1984 Video Recordings Act was never officially enacted. Whoops whoops! The Act, which prevented the sale of these materials to minors, covers movies, porn and video games, so kids, get your fun on now because this loophole’s not gonna be open forever.

In all seriousness, I don’t think it’s the place of any government to decide what kids can and can’t be exposed to. I understand that legislation like this is made to protect children from content some people might find inappropriate, but I think decisions like that should be left up to parents, not governments. Or maybe I’m just remembering feelings I had when I was 16 and some guy at the Orlando MegaCon wouldn’t sell me an issue of Penthouse Comix. What an asshole!
